Jones is very sweet and has a good canter. He goes in the therapeutic riding program, and helps people with disabilities. But what is cool about Jones is he is good with all children. 

Please help me "Pony Up" for Team Jones!  Each $25 I raise will provide a therapy horse for one lesson for a student with a disability.   

Meet Jones

Jones is a Thoroughbred gelding born in 2000.  His favorite part of being a therapy horse is helping students learn to ride independently.  Jones started out as a racehorse, but he much prefers the more relaxed pace of his new job!

At Charleston Area Therapeutic Riding, therapy horses like Jones are the foundation of our program.  Their forgiving temperaments, calm spirits and steady gaits bring joy, mobility and achievement to the children and adults with disabilities who ride at CATR.  For each of our students, a therapy horse can be one of their most meaningful companions, providing them with a uniquely rewarding and life-changing experience.  

We hope you will Pony Up for CATR!  A donation of just $25 gives a student the most valuable piece of their therapeutic riding lesson – a therapy horse!
