I always loved horses as a child and knew how special they were. I didn't own or take lessons but on my birthday for a couple of years I received a trail ride as a gift. Those few times only increased my love and being that close in person I knew how even more special they were because I got to actually ride a horse. Fast forward many many years later I started working at a local barn. I cleaned stalls and asked lots of questions to learn as much as I could about them. I eventually became a barn manager and 10 years ago I started working here. I am lucky enough to come to work everyday and take care of animals I have loved my whole life. I am blessed to be able to see on a daily basis miracles happen. I not only work here but I volunteer with the students as well. I knew that horses were special but when you see someone who otherwise wouldn't have ever had the opportunity to ride a horse get on and a smile come across their face it's hard to describe how it feels. I have cried many times when a student finally overcomes their fear and gets on the horse or actually speaks to tell their horse to "Go" by themselves. This place is so special! The other side of this place are our horses who without we couldn't make miracles happen.  As the barn manager I know first hand what it actually costs to take care of the horses each and every day. Greystone is a seasoned veteran who loves taking care of his rider. He is so sweet and patient with each one every time and knows his role is important too. We need your help to make this happen.
