COVID-19 EVENT STATEMENT & POLICIES

The safety and health of the community and our staff is of the utmost importance to Charleston Area Therapeutic Riding (CATR). The precautions and event policies identified below represent the efforts being made by CATR and its staff to keep our community safe when attending events. CATR will continue to follow the guidance of national, state, and local agencies and will continue to seek out additional support from city agencies

By attending any event at CATR, you acknowledge the risk of becoming exposed to or infected by COVID-19. You voluntarily agree to assume all the foregoing risks and accept sole responsibility for any exposure. 

1. GENERAL PRECAUTIONS
1. Please stay home if you are at high risk, sick or if you have knowingly been exposed to COVID-19 in the last 14 days.
2. Wash your hands often and use sanitizer. 
3. Wear a face mask while moving around the event and interacting with other guests.
4. Avoid shaking hands.
2. SOCIAL DISTANCING
1. We ask that all guests respect the social distance space of others and maintain a 6-foot distance from people who are not in your party.
2. We have created safe spaces marked with cones in our arena to help provide guests with an area to spread out safely with your party during the movie. We’ve allotted an 15-foot distance between each cone, which represents the center of your safe space.
3. Face masks are required when moving outside of your safe space.
4. Event guests are encouraged to bring chairs and blankets to make their safe space more comfortable. 
3. INCREASED SANITATION
1. Per the CDC guidelines, staff will sanitize common surfaces.
2. CATR asks that all guests sanitize their hands often with sanitizer provided throughout the event space.
4. STAFFING POLICIES
1. All staff and volunteers are required to wear a mask..
2. Staff continues to be trained and educated on best practices as provided by the CDC, as well as state and local agencies.
